term one hightlights

We did a lot of things this term like how to do PMIs and the body. I liked the PMIs because it helped me with my writing for speeches and my descriptive writing too. It will be very helpful for when I do my next speech or when I do more discursive writing is wall.
Geometry was fun at sometimes but hard at some too. We had to do volume, perimeter, measuring angles, area and drawing circles for our Mathematics time at school it as a little bit had having to use the protractor for measurer angles and the compass for drawing the circles (which I wasn’t very good at).we also did lot of basis facts test I have got really fast at it.

There are lots of different kind’s of bones in your body like the cranium, the spinal column, the humerus, the radius, the ulna, the sternum, the clavicle, the scapula, the phalanges, the pelvis, the femur, the tibia, the fibula and the patella and that all of the bones in the body. It is really cool when we have to do work on it.

We went to Opunake beach for our Beach Ed and I liked it because I went for a big swim with my friends we did a lot of activates and at lunch and morning tea time we all went down a really big slide it was so fun I tried to climb up it but my shoes where too slippery.

We did a lot for art for after lunch. We had to do self portraits and we had to paint them too. Then we had to do shadows of thing and now we are doing links to things.

I hated athletics is annoying when Scott nearly beat me in 100m sprints and when I throw the discus and shot put wrong.

Reading is fun sometimes when we do novel contract and reading our novel is all and the rest of it is a little bit boring then the rest of the work I do.

I loved doing tennis coaching. It was so cool at the end of the day or the practise l got to get lollies so it made all of as feel better but we always got the heat of the day which wasn’t to good because we would get really hot and bothered and when we had finished we race up the get a drink of water. Then when we got back it is lunch time so we are lucky.

I love swimming too. I have gotten really fast at it and that is good so in swimming sports I win some races and that’s good. We can’t dive into our pool at school because it is to shallow.

It's Better Living In The Country

This is so cool mum and dad have just brought a new farm and I got a horse and so did my sisters, about that let’s go for a ride down the farm. I think its better living in the country for the kids, the parents and the animals but travelling for sport is not so good. Those are the things that I am talking about in my essay.

Kid’s that live in the country get a lot more space to run around in because if their parent’s have big farm’s the kid’s can run all around. Because they can run all round they’ll be fitter and healthier, it’s more fun and they will spend less time watching TV or playing Playstation games. They would be a little bit safer too because there would be not as many cars around, and there are not as many people in the country. It is also safer in the country because we are not as close to bad people.
Sport is one big problem when you live in the country because you have to drive long way’s to get to where you want to go. When you live in the country you might be late for what ever you are doing. When you have sport in the morning you have to wake up earlier or you might miss your sport. You also have to pay for all petrol that you have used.
If your Parent’s live on a farm and it’s big they should get more money because when you have more farm stock units on the farm and you sell more lambs and calves, cows and sheep and you get more money. If your parents live on the farm there is not as many cars going past so it is quieter so they get to have to have a nice rest and maybe have a nice long sleep and if they had time even read a book.
Animal’s that live in the country get a bit of bad luck because if they don’t have a calf or a lamb some of them go to the works and get killed either for money or for meat. They can also live in a mob not just one cow or sheep like they just have in the town but in the town you sometimes only have about 1 or 2 paddocks.
You should agree with me. I have listed about as kids living in the country how we take longer to get to sport, parents sending the animals to the works and getting all of the money or meat and letting the parents have a rest.
